About the Movie
According to the official synopsis for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the main character Peter Quill, played by Chris Pratt, is still deeply affected by the loss of Gamora, which happened in the movie Avengers: Infinity War back in 2018. In order to protect one of their own and defend the universe, Peter must gather his team of Guardians and lead them on a mission. This mission is crucial, as failing to complete it successfully could mean the end of the Guardians as we know them.
In December 2022, the first official trailer for the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 movie was released. The trailer gives a sneak peek of character flashbacks, battles, and humorous exchanges between the Guardians. The second trailer, which came out in February 2023, features Gamora who has been resurrected but doesn’t remember her relationship with Peter Quill.
After the trailers, Marvel will not reveal any more details until the movie is released. Marvel takes extreme measures to prevent leaks, which makes it difficult to work with them. Sometimes, actors get their scripts just hours before filming, which can be frustrating for them. Saldana admitted that it’s not cool and can be difficult for her to prepare for the role.
